Guitar Group Classes

Experience the joy of learning and playing with others!

Group classes can be taken on their own or as a supplement to private lessons to maximize learning. Enrolling in a beginner group class will teach you the basics of reading, strumming, and playing music as an ensemble. After completion, you can continue the fun by joining our guitar ensemble. Each class is one hour long and meets weekly for a semester of 16 weeks in the spring or fall. We require an enrollment of 4 to 8 students to start a class. Ages 10 and up. Materials and instrument not included.

*Registration is currently open for the 2025 summer class. (shorter session)

Guitar Ensemble Curriculum

What's next after the beginning guitar group class?

Once you have completed the beginner guitar group course and learned the basics, you may continue the fun in our guitar ensemble classes. In these classes we will explore and perform a wide variety of guitar arrangements ranging in styles. These classes are ranked into four different levels:

Level 1: Guitar Ensemble (2 semesters)

Level 2: Intermediate Guitar Ensemble (2 semesters)

Level 3: Advanced Guitar Ensemble (2 semesters)

Level 4: Fine Music Guitar Ensemble (exceptional students who have completed each level successfully)

As the music gets more complex and rigorous by level, students are only allowed to advance through the ranks as they fulfill the minimum required semesters outlined per level in addition to a formal invitation from the teacher.
